Weekend Excursion

I realize that my last post was a bit heavy; therefore, I have opted to write a lighthearted post tonight.

I am super excited because I will be heading out on a photo extravaganza this weekend with my God-sister and my Bestie. Having the two of them together will be an utter RIOT! Now, this photo extravaganza will be unlike the previous extravaganza when the Bestie and I hit the graveyards in the area. This time we will be taking a day road-trip. All the way to a different state! We will start the morning by gathering together for an “on the run” breakfast of Calzone Breakfast Pockets. We will have prepared all types of goodies for snacking on this road-trip. On the tentative menu:

Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn

Brownie Cookies

Trail Mix

Chips

Beef Jerky

Lemon Chex Mix

Along with any other fattening, delicious road-trip food decided upon.

We will head down to catch the Ferry on Knott’s Island and enjoy a lovely water ride over to Currituck County. Upon arrival, we will decide which route we want to take, be it further inland, or over to the Outer Banks.

Head up to Corolla: Lighthouse, Whalehead Club, Vineyards, Heritage Park, and Corolla Chapel.

If heading inland….

DEFINITELY GOING TO ELIZABETH CITY BEACH!!! Would be a lovely place for our picnic lunch!

Poke around a while see what trouble we can find.

Stop the girls at that little hole in the wall place that John and I went to…get a milk shake. It’s a MUST!

Whichever we decide, FUN will be had, pictures will be taken, and most importantly, MEMORIES, that are priceless, will be made!

I’m looking forward to this weekend. 4 days. WOOT WOOT!!!
