I AM SO ANGRY!
I just found out that cancer has claimed yet another person that I have come to love.
Not only did we lose Warren (one of my Dad's best friend and fellow band member), but also a very, very young girl who's name is Savannah.  She was only 11.
CANCER: GO AWAY, LEAVE ALL OF US ALONE!!
Can't SOMEONE find a cure?????  I know it's out there, we have to look harder.

Life, or something like it.....

So, it's been almost 8 months since I have blogged. I know, BAD BLOGGER!  I just thought that with all that is on my mind today, this would be a fantastic place to vent about it. 


First of all, I have my annual IEP meeting for my daughter today, and let me just tell you, I am NOT looking forward to it.  I am going to have to go in there with my list 2 miles long to tell them how they are failing my child.  It is NEVER fun to have to do that under any circumstances, much less when you are faced with a room full of teachers, special educators and a Vice Principal.  However, I will do it, because it is what my daughter needs.


Secondly, I am thinking about the future, what it holds, and what will ultimately be brought across my path.  Why?  I have absolutely NO clue.  I guess the best thing to do is to just wait it out, not worry, and face things as they come.  No sense in worrying about it now. 


Third, I am completely BUSTING at the seams waiting for July to roll around here.  I can't wait to get to Tennessee and spend some MUCH needed time with my Bestie!  I really could care less if all we do is sit piled up on her couch or bed crocheting, drinking coffee and just talking!  Just to be in her presence is enough for me :)


Ok, I have to go get ready for this craptastical meeting now.

It's Summer

I am sitting in my bed, at 8:18 in the morning, and wishing that it was bedtime already.  I have only had one cup of coffee, all of my makeup is missing, my kids are doing whatever they wish, and I am ready to pull out my hair.  I SERIOUSLY have another whole MONTH of them being home?!?!  SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!  School will be a wonderful thing!  I will no longer have an 11 year old lump in my bed, a 5 year old ball of energy and a 4 year old diva around ALL DAY LONG!  It can't happen soon enough for my liking!  SCHOOL COME QUICK!!!!!

Where is my Mojo??

Ok, so I have like 8 billion christmas projects that need to be done, and what am I doing?  Trying to find the mojo to work on them.  I have crochet itmes that I am trying to make for the entire family, and still have decorations to make!  I have not completely finished ONE project yet!!  This is driving me crazy!  Perhaps I have bitten off a little more than I can chew??  Maybe not, maybe I am just having a day where I don't want to do much.  Oh well, I have to MAKE myself do some work on this stuff.  I am aiming to have my sister's scarf done by this evening, not sure if I can because of the stitch that I am using on it, but we will see.  Will update and post pic when done!!

Ghouls, and Goblins and Ghosts....OH MY!

Well, Halloween proved again to be my favorite day of the year! We had a busy but productive day. The day started by everyone pitching in and cleaning the house, then followed by a day of baking cookies, a ghost cake, making a center piece of rainbow twizzlers and pretzels dipped in white chocolate with black sugar crystals and orange pumpkin candies sprinkled on top. Oh yeah, forgot to mention I made Halloween bark out of the leftover chocolate and candies/sprinkles!




My mom came over for dinner and I had made spaghetti with "oozing eyeballs".

Immediately after dinner, we got the kiddos in their costumes and did their makeup for trick or treating. Shelby was Tinkerbell,

and Logan and Emma decided that they were going to be vampires......



ahhhhh, life is good. My favorite things in the world, and MY kids decided to dress up as them :D.


Mom accompanied us trick or treating the ENTIRE neighborhood. This year was a little disappointing as far as the number of trick or treaters in our neighborhood. There really were NOT a lot of people out.....but, we made out!!! Not to mention we found this house where they had a pumpkin carving contest, and out of all of the elaborate carvings, this was my favorite......

It was done by a boy just about Logan's age, and had blinking Christmas lights inside, it was the cutest, coolest pumpkin EVER!!!!

This particular house had also saved milk jugs and cut off the handles leaving an open wedge in the carton....they had painted them black or white with words and pictures left unpainted....stuck some moss in the bottom of the jug and lit candles in them.....TOO CUTE and wayyyyyyy cost effective!!!  Smarty farties in the neighborhood only give me good ideas for next year.....LOL!

And the best part of the night???????? FULL MOON!!!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT??????

Anywho......hope you all had a WONDERFUL and SPOOKY Halloween!!!!

DANAGER ZONE!!!

So, having recently found this wonderful blogging site, I have found that there are tons of links on each individual blog that are leading to more and more and more links and they are all dangerous and addictive websites!!! I now have more websites promoted on my blog than I ever imagined possible!! I really never was one for promoting websites and all that razzle dazzle stuff, and now, OMG, I just can't help myself!!! These sites are fabulous and I just want to share them with everyone, especially thsoe of us in the SAHM world....anywho.....must start flying with my friend the FLYlady.....house must be clean and I have to make treats with the kiddos today, not to mention my ghost cake and spaghetti with oozing eyeball supper :D FUN times at the Casa De La Warden :D

Well, that's just life.

Ok, so, I thought because my husband was coming home early that he might have some pity on me and let me lay down and take a nap. Yeah, wishful thinking.....he is napping, I am up with the kiddos. That really bites, I am exhausted. In 2 hours time, I went to the doctor, got gas, and went grocery shopping. Oh well, I guess I will get to rest at some point. Such is life.
